Phase-4 (Clinical) Department of Orthopaedics


  • At the end of the course of Orthopaedics the undergraduate medical students will be able to
  • diagnose and manage patients with common Orthopaedic problems.
  • describe the basic concept of Counselling Orthopaedics patient.
  • refer high risk cases appropriately.
  • demonstrate appropriate attitude required to practise Orthopaedics.

  • After completing the course of Orthopaedics in MBBS course students will acquire following Competencies:
  • History taking, communication skill, orthopedic examination.
  • Diagnosis of common clinical problems in orthopedics.
  • Preparation of a patient before anaesthesia.
