  • Eastern Medical College Journal (Eastern Med Coll J) is committed to providing open access to peer-reviewed research in the medical sciences. These copyright terms apply to the publication, distribution, and use of all content in Eastern Med Coll J, including articles, reviews, case reports, and other materials.
  • 1. Author Copyright: All published works are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 International License. Authors retain copyright of their articles after publication but grant Eastern Med Coll J the right to publish the work in all formats (print, online, PDF), use it for indexing, and store it on the journal website and third-party repositories (e.g., Google Scholar, BanglaJOL). Authors are also permitted to reuse their work in books, presentations, or institutional repositories without obtaining additional permission, provided the original publication in Eastern Med Coll J is properly cited.
  • 2. User Rights: Users may download, share, adapt, reproduce, and distribute content from Eastern Med Coll J in any format, in accordance with the CC BY-NC-SA 3.0 license, provided they credit the author(s), the article title, and Eastern Med Coll J as the source.

  • 5. Journal Rights: Eastern Med Coll J retains the right to edit, and format published content to ensure clarity, accessibility, and stylistic consistency. The journal may permanently archive content and share it with indexing services, or preservation networks to ensure long-term accessibility.
  • 6. Conflict of Interest Statement: Authors are not the only stakeholders who may have biases or conflict of interests. It is just as important for editors, editorial board members, and reviewers to disclose any potential conflicts of interest at all stages of the publication process.
  • 7. Changes to Copyright Terms: Eastern Med Coll J reserves the right to update these copyright terms. Any changes will be posted on journal website.
